Breaking Historical Boundaries: Unity between Korea and Italy solidified Through Art

This week at Encanto, we are proud to celebrate a historic milestone—one that reflects not only a significant achievement for our agency but also an impactful moment in the cultural and diplomatic relationship between Italy and South Korea.
On Thursday the 26th of June at 9pm Italian local time, alongside the collaboration between the Government of Korea and The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea, Encanto has the honor of organizing a dinner at Caffè Roma, next-door to the Colosseum in Rome, Italy. At this event, the Korean government will project five pieces of artwork by Korean artists using new utilizing cutting edge mapping technology, bringing the art to life. The artwork will be projected onto the Colosseum, giving visibility to not only event attendees but the community of Rome. This event is the first of its kind when it comes to Korean government media projection onto the Colosseum, a ground breaking win towards unity between the nations.
The event, themed the “Echo of Time” will project five different artworks by Korean and Italian artists involved with KOFICE (Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange) and the Korean Cultural Institute in Italy.
Furthermore, over seventy personalities within the world of art and diplomacy will be in attendance and time will be set aside for press opportunity featuring diplomats, governmental figures, and the artist involved in bringing this event together.
This project exemplifies Encanto’s ongoing commitment to cultural innovation and international collaboration. We believe in the power of art to transcend language and politics, to create bridges where walls once stood, and to spark conversation that continues long after the final image fades from the stone.
