Karin Ann releases new single “for a moment”

New year, new single. Karin Ann is back with the release of her latest song, “for a moment”. Encanto has followed Karin Ann’s music career since the release of her song “we’re friends, right?” and video last year. The video was in collaboration with Simone Bozzelli, the same video director that worked with Maneskin, bringing Karin Ann popularity in Italy. Encanto has continued their support of the singer throughout a European tour as an opener for LP, American singer and fellow LGBTQ icon, and is now coordinating coverage of her new song, out last month. 

Generation Z advocate for LGBTQ rights in eastern europe, Karin Ann gives a voice to young people like herself by speaking about the troubles that come with young adulthood, especially as a member of the LGBTQ community in a place that is less than accepting. Slovakian singer Karin Ann has returned with a new song “for a moment”, released internationally on January 27, 2023 via 3am Records with an accompanying music video.

The music mix is made by Mitch McCarthy, who has worked with the likes of Olivia Rodrigo and Meghan Trainor, among other great American artists. Karin’s video, filmed on Zuma Beach in sunny Malibu, Los Angeles, was made with the visualizer technique. It is a responsive video which involves visual components synchronized to the beat of the music, capturing the attention of the viewer through the stimulation of multiple senses.

Karin Ann’s lyrics are written and sung in English, widening her audience and making her music relatable across countries, identities, ages, and backgrounds. Not only is her music catchy and accessible, but it also touches on common troubles facing today’s youths including love, mental health, gender equality, and freedom of expression. Karin Ann serves as a voice and inspiration for her GenZ peers in Eastern Europe and beyond.
