It is from this awareness that the new vocal leadership workshop promoted by Encanto PR was born, aimed at managers, professional women and individuals who use their voice daily in workplace interactions, from meetings and presentations to public speaking engagements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The masterclass will be led by Patrizia Mottola, an actress,  and vocal coach with more than thirty years of experience in vocal training and communication, together with Marco Gazzini, an actor and voice performance coach who collaborates with companies, professionals and educational institutions in developing programmes focused on voice use, breathing, expressive presence and communication effectiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme has been designed with the aim of developing greater awareness in the use of the voice, through practical activities dedicated to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>prosody and the musicality of speech<\/li><li>conscious breathing<\/li><li>posture and physical presence<\/li><li>communicative presence and awareness of one\u2019s vocal tone<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants will work on tools that can be immediately applied in everyday communication, with the objective of improving clarity of expression, communication effectiveness and the management of their professional presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Growing interest in these aspects is also reflected in scientific literature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A study by the National Bureau of Economic Research, conducted on more than 14,000 participants, found that women tend to describe their own performance less favourably than men with equivalent results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the workplace, this may translate into recurring communication behaviours, such as a greater tendency to soften statements, adopt a less assertive tone or occupy less conversational space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Research into the relationship between voice and perception has also highlighted the role of vocal characteristics in shaping professional image. A study published in 2015 in the scientific journal PLOS ONE by researchers at the University of Miami showed how elements such as tone, rhythm, articulation and timbre contribute to influencing perceptions of reliability, competence and leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWorking on the voice means working on self-awareness and on the way we relate to others. Many people possess strong skills and solid expertise, yet when they find themselves speaking in public, during a presentation or even in an interview, difficulties linked to managing anxiety, emotions and communicative presence often emerge. The risk is that tension and insecurity end up distorting the message and projecting an image that does not truly reflect one\u2019s abilities,\u201d explains Patrizia Mottola, actress, voice actress and vocal coach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe programme has been designed with a strongly practical approach and provides tools that can be applied immediately: from breath control to voice use, from physical presence to the ability to create rapport with listeners.
