This year\u2019s Design Week saw us working across the city, from the Design Museum to Palazzo Litta and Via Tortona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soban at the ADI Museum<\/strong>
Promoted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Design Foundation, the exhibition SEOUL LIFE 2026 MILAN: Heritage Reimagined, Soban Seoul Lifestyle<\/em><\/a> brought the traditional Korean soban table to the ADI Design Museum during Milan Design Week. The project featured reinterpretations by 17 young designers, combining craftsmanship, 3D printing and AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The soban is a traditional object that reflects the Korean culture of sitting on the floor together with the custom of individual dining (doksang<\/em>). Looking towards the future while honouring its heritage, the exhibition reimagined the soban as a contemporary design object by combining traditional Korean craft techniques with new technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition was inaugurated with an opening ceremony attended by Andrea Cancellato, Director of the ADI, Luciano Galimberti, President of the ADI, Kim Choon-goo, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Italy, Choi Tae Ho, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Milan, and Cha Kang-heui, President and CEO of the Seoul Design Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Palazzo Litta: Poliuretano-\u00e8 and GAPE<\/strong>
To celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the project, Poliuretano-\u00e8 chose the prestigious setting of Palazzo Litta to create an immersive installation combining sensory experience with technical insight. Designed to actively engage visitors, the installation invited the public to interact directly with the material: touching, sitting and lying down became essential actions for understanding differences in support, density, elasticity, texture and weight response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Official debut for GAPE, the new Italian contemporary furniture brand, also at Palazzo Litta, where it exclusively unveiled its first collections of multifunctional upholstered furniture made from flexible polyurethane foam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The products stand out for their multifunctionality, with modular elements that transform throughout the day; contemporary design, balancing clean aesthetics with innovative concepts; and ease of use, thanks to lightweight, intuitive and fully removable covers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Urban Jungle at the European School of Economics, Via Tortona<\/strong>
URBAN JUNGLE is a D.Green Design installation project created in collaboration with the European School of Economics, with the aim of transforming art into an educational tool linked to sustainability and inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Encanto curated Jungle Radio, a live radio station featuring interviews and podcasts that animated the venue throughout Design Week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
