On March 10th<\/sup> 2026, Acer marked its fiftieth anniversary with a press conference at the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci in Milan. The event brought together media, partners, and industry professionals to highlight the company\u2019s evolution and future strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 1976, Acer began as a personal computer manufacturer and has grown into a global technology company operating in more than 160 countries. The press conference emphasized Acer\u2019s transformation into a provider of integrated solutions, spanning cloud computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, smart cities, electric mobility, and connected devices. The company now operates as an ecosystem of specialized companies delivering end-to-end B2B solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acer\u2019s \u201cmultiple business engines\u201d strategy was a key theme of the event. Companies within the ecosystem, including Altos Computing, AOPEN, and Opticon, deliver solutions across servers, AI infrastructure, interactive displays, point-of-sale systems, and industrial PCs. This approach allows Acer to support organizations\u2019 entire digital infrastructure while building resilience against market cycles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company also highlighted its strong financial performance. In 2025, Acer reached NT$275.64 billion in revenue, a four percent increase from 2024. Artificial intelligence was another central focus. Acer introduced the TravelMate Copilot+ laptops, including the P4 and P2 models, powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with Intel vPro. The exhibition showcases fifty years of Acer\u2019s technological evolution through six iconic products paired with original art installations created by fifteen students from Milan universities, including the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, Raffles, and the Politecnico di Milano. The students\u2019 works span fashion design, sculpture, interior design, set design, painting, and new media, offering a generational perspective on the relationship between technology, society, and culture. By reimagining Acer\u2019s historical devices, the exhibition highlights how innovation shapes daily life, connectivity, and creativity, bridging past achievements with the possibilities of the future. The exhibition will travel to Acer\u2019s European headquarters in Bioggio, Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the press conference, Acer leaders emphasized collaboration, innovation, and long-term partnerships as central to the company\u2019s future. By combining AI, sustainability, and integrated solutions with a commitment to design and creativity, Acer continues to strengthen its position as a platform connecting technology, businesses, and people.
