Welcome back to the Milan Design Week! We’re at Superstudio with WastEnders

Good luck to all the companies that have had the tenacity to participate in this Milan Design Week edition, starting today 4 September which, after a year and a half, finally gives us the opportunity to witness the city return to life with events, installations, and flocks of designers.

We can savor a bit of normality again, not only as Milanese but also as communications professionals, and Encanto Public Relations would never miss the chance of taking part in this fresh start! This year we’ll be focusing on polyurethane and color: Poliuretano è is an association of prestigious companies producing innovative and high-quality upholstery fabric design for sofas and chairs, and the Korean Nooro Milan Design Studio has been setting international trends in the combination of light and color. Naturally, we continue supporting the Korean Kraft Design Foundation which this year is displaying the furniture featured in the Oscar-winning movie Parasite, at Palazzo Litta, and the refined creations of master artisans committed to ecological sustainability.

For those who want to join us, we’ll be at SuperStudio in via Tortona, together with Materially which in this year’s edition is hosting WastEnders: an exhibition that introduces new families of materials developed from recycled raw materials, thus reducing waste and turning it into value.  WastEnders is part of the Materials Village Special Edition event set up by Materially in collaboration with Poliuretano è.
The exhibition brings together companies producing innovative and eco-sustainable applications of flexible polyurethane foam in various sectors. These include: Diadora safety and working footwear with recycled PU padding, Re-Mart recycled material, Orsa Automotive for the automotive industry and CIR Ambiente sound-absorbing panels that are entirely waste-free.
